Colo-NESCO's Izabell Voelker given all-ISC South honorable mention honor in girls basketball

Colo-NESCO senior Izabell Voelker was given all-Iowa Star Conference South Division recognition in girls basketball by the conference coaches for the 2021-2022 season.

Voelker was named all-ISC South honorable mention. She averaged 9.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 steals and 1.4 assists and made 9 3-pointers in conference play.

The all-ISC South first team was made up of Baxter seniors Elie Tuhn and Lilie Vansice, Meskwaki seniors Wakinyela Bear and Geanna Bear and Collins-Maxwell senior Alexis Houge and sophomore Erica Houge.

The second team consisted of Baxter junior Mandee Selover and freshman Emie Tuhn, Meskwaki sophomore Sia Bear, Collins-Maxwell sophomore Chloe Wierson, GMG sophomore Adelyn Sienknecht and North Tama freshman Aubree Monat. 

Elie Tuhn was named the ISC South Player of the Year after averaging 14.8 points, 5.5 assists and 4.6 steals in helping Baxter win the conference with a perfect 12-0 record. The Bolts' Eric Padget was named ISC South Coach of the Year.
