Two Royals make all-ISC in volleyball

Two members of the Colo-Nesco volleyball team were given all-Iowa Star Conference recognition by the conference coaches in 2016.

Senior outside hitter Kassie Robinson and sophomore libero Emma Sarver were both honored from Colo-Nesco. Robinson made the all-ISC South Division second team and Sarver was named all-conference honorable mention.

In ISC play Robinson had 16 kills, 11 aces and eight digs in conference matches for Colo-Nesco. Sarver finished with 40 digs and eight aces.

The ISC South Division first team was made up of: Don Bosco’s Maddie Huff, Maddey Siems and Kindra Walter; North Tama’s Marika Kopriva and Katie Kopriva and GMG’s Blaire Sonderleiter and Josie Claussen.

Joining Robinson on the ISC South Division second team were: North Tama’s Karly Jans and Takoa Kopriva; Don Bosco’s Rayna Breitbach; GMG’s Katie Airey; Meskwaki’s Grace Tahahwah and Waterloo Christians Abigail Doering.
