Thanksgiving Day meal

Don’t go hungry on Thanksgiving. First Christian Church in Nevada, located at 250 E Ave., is open to all who want a great meal. Bring something to share if you can and come to the church around noon for great food and fellowship.

Food at First

If you haven’t tried out Food at First this year, give it a try this Monday, Nov. 28. Dinner meals, from 5:30-6 p.m. are free of charge, and served in the basement of First United Methodist Church, 1036 Seventh St.

For those interested in pursuing a career in health care, Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames is hosting a meeting in the Bessie Myers Auditorium (hospital’s north addition) on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 4:45-8:45 p.m.
