On Dec. 14, Ella Toot of the Nevada FFA chapter traveled to Hubbard and picked up two cases of donated pork loins from the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation.

The Hansens also donated $250 cash and several T-shirts and aprons for the chapter also.

All of the donations will be used as part of the FFA annual community winter dinner on Sunday, Jan. 23, at Gates Hall. Not only will the chapter be providing a meal at no cost but will also be delivering to those citizens that cannot travel out of their homes.

The Nevada FFA chapter has been providing the meal since 2007 as part of the chapter’s community service.
