Nevada FFA members received a donation from Keith and Denise Davis. Pictured are (front, left to right) Leah Biensen, Kylie Taylor, (back row) Kaine Albright, Keith Davis and William Carsrud. Not pictured are Denise Davis and Kevin Cooper, Nevada High School agriculture education instructor.

Keith and Denise Davis donated funds on Dec. 20 for Nevada FFA to purchase a new HVLP paint gun for tractor project work, a new steam cleaner hose reel and a new Canon camera.

Nevada FFA members restore and repaint several tractors annually for the county and state fair competition.  A hose reel will make putting the steam cleaner hose back much easier than manually looping the hose back on the hanger peg. With a reel, the hose will be able to crank up without twisting.

Because Nevada FFA has activities on a regular basis, a second camera will really help getting photos of the members and their activities.

The Davises also donated four years ago when Bob Davis, Keith’s father, passed away. Bob Davis was a lifelong successful Nevada area farmer. Bob donated a Ford pickup to Nevada FFA in the fall of 2012, which was sold at a DOT auction.

“This is very generous of Keith and Denise to donate like this. We sure appreciate their generosity,” said Kevin Cooper, Nevada High School agriculture education instructor and FFA advisor.
