Kieth Tadlock is draped with the Quilt of Valor he received in July.

On July 23, Dorothy Cerka presented Kieth Tadlock a Quilt of Valor at his daughter's house in Okoboji.

Tadlock was drafted into the U.S. Army June 19,1943. He was transferred into the Army Air Corps and trained as an aerial gunner. He served in the South Pacific and was discharged Dec. 30, 1945.

Currently Tadlock lives in Spirit Lake in an assistant-living facility.

In the 1980's, Tadlock was superintendent of the Colo school district. In his retirement years, he and his wife Mirian, now deceased, moved to northern Iowa to live near their daughter. Keith, now 97 years old, holds a lifetime membership in the Colo Legion. He was very pleased to be remembered by the community in this manner.
