Another 16 COVID-19 cases, no new deaths in Story County

At 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Iowa Department of Public Health was reporting an additional 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases and no new deaths in Story County.

The latest data as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, compared to 10 a.m. Monday:

  • Confirmed cases: 10,529, an increase of 16 
  • Deaths: 48, unchanged from Monday
  • Total tested: 162,972
  • Total recovered: 10,115
  • Countywide 14-day positivity rate: 5.4%

How many have received COVID-19 vaccinations within Story County?

All Iowans ages 16 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Vaccine doses administered: 76,193
  • Individuals receiving first dose: 14,206
  • Individuals receiving second dose: 30,527*
  • Individuals received single-dose series: 1,557
