Additional 29 COVID-19 cases reported in Story County, no new deaths

At 10 a.m. Monday, the Iowa Department of Public Health was reporting an additional 29 confirmed COVID-19 cases and no new deaths in Story County.

The latest data as of 11 a.m. Monday, compared to 10 a.m. Friday:

  • Confirmed cases: 10,410, an increase of 29
  • Deaths: 47, no increase
  • Total tested: 160,660
  • Total recovered: 9,943
  • Countywide 14-day positivity rate: 4.5%

How many have received COVID-19 vaccinations within Story County?

Starting Monday, all Iowans ages 16 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

  • Vaccine doses administered: 69,357
  • Individuals receiving first dose: 14,927
  • Individuals receiving second dose: 26,888*
  • Individuals received single-dose series: 924
