The honor roll lists for Graceland University’s 2016 spring term have been announced, and Anthony Lawson of Colo has been named to the dean’s list. Students with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.64 are named to the dean’s list. In addition, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with majors in business administration and sport management on May 1.

Megan Ellis of Nevada has been honored by the Iowa State University Educator Preparation Program for achieving the rank of a professional educator.

Ellis, who studied elementary education, was one of 191 Iowa State University graduates who were bestowed with academic cords of light blue, the traditional color worn by those in the field of education receiving bachelor’s degrees, in a ceremony on May 6. Each student chose an influential mentor to present them with the cords on stage.

Lydia Herzberg and Todd Tilley, both of Nevada, were named to the spring 2016 dean’s list at Marshalltown Community College. To be eligible, students must have taken 12 or more credit hours during the semester and earned at least a 3.5 GPA.

Recognition for outstanding academic achievement has been given to Madison Farren of Colo for the 2016 spring semester at Grand View University. She has been named to the president’s list for earning a GPA of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.

Allison Hulshizer of Colo and Tuyen Le of Nevada were named to the Grand View University dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester. The students are so named for earning a GPA of 3.5 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.
