Registration is now open for the Kids’ Co’Motion (KCM) 2016 modern dance performance workshop titled “Zonal Flow!” KCM is celebrating its 28th season this year! Zonal Flow! participants receive training in contemporary dance, dance theater, theatrical improvisation and dance choreography. They also learn live stage production from tech to teamwork.

KCM is a three-week intensive program for youngsters, ages 8-18. It runs weekdays, 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., July 11-29, with evening performances at Ames City Auditorium, 7:30 p.m., July 29 and 30. The show title is a meteorological term reflecting a weather theme. Expect to see kids dancing up a storm in Zonal Flow!

KCM is a program of Co’Motion Dance Theater, and is presented and supervised by dancer/director/choreographer, Valerie Williams. KCM is accessible for both children who have, and have not had, other dance experience. All dances are tailored to the abilities of the participants.

Tuition for Zonal Flow! is $210. Registrations before June 1 receive a $10 discount. For more KCM info and to register online, go to:
