4-H News: Country Pioneers

The regular meeting of the Country Pioneers was held on May 8. We started the meeting by touring Blood’s Dairy Farm in State Center. The meeting was called to order by Grace Stalzer. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Sam McKinney. Treasurer’s report was given by Jack McKinney. Our balance is $850.79. Grace Stalzer and Hallie Riese will be running for fair queen. We will have a workday in June to work on wheelbarrows for the county fair. We discussed selling bedding for the fundraiser at the county fair. For Colo Days we will be designing a float, and putting together a petting zoo. The closing 4-H pledge was led by Hallie Riese. Thanks.
