Nevada FFA receives FCS $2,500 grant

The Farm Credit Service (FCS) retail office of Marshalltown presented Nevada FFA with a check for $2,500 on Friday, May 6. Nevada FFA applied for the grant in early April, seeking funds to educate students on the importance of animal production, environmental coexistence and economic value in an education setting for K-12 students. The Nevada FFA student committee has been meeting lately, planning a variety of activities and promotions.
