Holiday Festival at the Library

On Dec. 15, the Nevada Library celebrated its annual Holiday Festival. This year the theme began with the reading of the Polar Express. The children arrived at the library in their jammies. Tickets were handed out as they entered the meeting room. The pre-teen group ushered them in while acting out as a locomotive. During the story we danced the hot chocolate song. We then celebrated the night with cookies and milk. The different activities were making reindeer food, Christmas trees, and candy canes for the tree. There were 105 participants. A big thank you goes out to the volunteers. If you didn’t make it this year maybe we’ll see you next. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a New Year. (Photo Submitted)
