Haley Grammer of Nevada was named to the Drake University dean’s list for the spring 2014 semester. Students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or above to earn this honor.

Ann Hoover and Amanda Supercynski of Nevada have been named to the Drake University president’s list for the spring 2014 semester. Students must have a perfect 4.0 grade-point average to receive this honor.

The following Journal-area students were named to the spring 2014 semester dean’s list at the University of Northern Iowa. To be included on the list, a student must have earned a grade point of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while taking at least 12 hours of graded work during the semester.

Steven Gray of Nevada received a Doctor of Education (Leadership) degree from the University of Northern Iowa at the close of the 2014 spring semester.

Sydni Loney and Brook Thompson of Nevada were named to the president’s list at Simpson College for the spring semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must have a GPA of 4.0.

Laura Alt and Gabriel Dubberke of Nevada were named to the dean’s list at Simpson College for the spring semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must have a GPA of 3.70 – 3.99.

Max Herzberg, the son of Myron D. and Kimberly J. Herzberg of Nevada, graduated from Grinnell College on May 19; he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in psychology. Herzberg also was the recipient of the Award for Excellence in Service to Students and Student Affairs.

Nevada students Trevor Davis, Benjamin Johnson, Sarah Niblock, Ross Van Allen and Lucas Johnson have been named to the University of Iowa dean’s list for the 2014 spring semester.

Aaron Hunt of Nevada was named to the University of Iowa president’s list for the 2014 spring semester. In order to be included, a student must have a minimum 4.0 grade point average in all academic subjects for the preceding two semesters, with a total of at least 12 semester hours of credit per semester during that period.
