Junie B Jones is coming to Ames

Staff Writer
Nevada Journal

Sassy, funny Junie B. Jones comes to Stephens Auditorium on Monday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. as part of the Martha-Ellen Tye Youth Matinee Series.

From bus rules to band-aids, carpools to cookies, Junie B. Jones and friends deliver the definitive word on surviving and thriving at school in style. Now that Junie B. has a whole year-and-a-half under her belt and a hard-won expertise, who better to write the book on EVERYTHING a kid needs to know with a jillion tips, tricks and trip-ups?

Based on Barbara Park’s delightful Junie B. Jones book series, this musical play will show audiences that school is sometimes scary, sometimes super-fun, and always something to sing about.

The performance is open to the public and admission is an affordable $4 in advance ($5 at the door). The Iowa State Center further supports the school matinee series by offering full scholarship admission to students enrolled in the federal lunch program.

Admission is $4 in advance; $5 at the door. REGISTER on line or call 515-294-4608.
