Nevada senior Kody Kruschwitz signed a letter of intent to play college football at Grandview University in Des Moines Feb. 19 in the Nevada High School commons. Kruschwitz is a two-time all-state punter. He made the Class 2A second team last season after averaging 38.1 yards per punt and he was a third-team all-state selection as a junior when he set a school record with an average of 44.2 yards per punt. Kruschwitz also set Nevada passing records as a junior by completing 183 of 300 passes for 2,247 yards and 20 touchdowns. An Elbow injury cut his time at quarterback short in 2019.
