Nevada seniors Kacie Rewerts and Morgan Tupper and junior Sydney Mosinski were given all-district honors in volleyball for the 2019 season.


Rewerts, Tupper and Mosinski were named to the Central All-District team in Class 3A. Cub head coach Jonny Sneidmerman was named the district Coach of the Year after leading the Cubs to a 33-10 record and a trip state in his first season at Nevada.


Rewerts tallied 477 kills at 4.50 per set with a 0.317 kill-efficiency rate and she added 304 digs, 38 blocks and 35 aces. Tupper handed out 995 assists at 9.21 per set at setter and also came up with 208 digs, 79 kills, 41 blocks and 33 aces.


Mosinski delivered 233 kills at 2.79 per set at middle hitter. She also led Nevada in blocks with 94.


The other 3A Central All-District selections were Des Moines Christian’s Alysen Dexter, Megan Riddle and Caitlin Kellner; Algona’s Abbey Holmes and Molly McCauley, Humboldt’s Jori Hajek and Deni McDaniel, Roland-Story’s Madison Geise, North Polk’s Jaedon Murphy and Iowa Falls-Alden’s Jenny Wibholm.
