Started commissioning the greenhouse by assembling and setting up greenhouse grow benches. Half of the benches are open grid, and the other half are "flood benches," which are efficient in watering plants. Besides water efficiency, the flood benches reduce nutrient loss in greenhouse effluent. Another energy efficiency factor is the side wall, roof and ridge venting system, which utilizes the natural air flow to dissipate excessive heat. Traditional greenhouses use many electric motor-driven fans that draw electrical energy and wear out fan motors. Through microprocessors and a rack and pinion control system, the greenhouse will open up to get rid of excessive heat. To accompany this is an exclusive water mist fogger, which also will activate to cool the greenhouse. A trench drain runs down the center of the greenhouse for drainage.
