Omar Brendeland of Huxley donated a Farmall M tractor to the Nevada FFA. Kevin Cooper and Komer Johnson traveled to the Brendeland Farm near the Palestine Church on Friday, Feb. 19. Merle Brendeland, Omar’s son, was at the farm to help. Fortunately, it was an easy load since Komer’s Ford tractor 3pt quick tach center hook latched right into a front ring on the M. After securing the loaded tractor with several high tension chains and load binders, the tractor was taken to Nevada High School ag/mech lab and unloaded. Cooper then headed to Story County Conservation to visit with Joe Kooiker regarding a no-start Massey Ferguson 230 diesel tractor. "Bring in to town, it will be a good lesson for the students!" stated Cooper.

Joe arrived at the high school around 1:45 p.m. and the MF 230 diesel tractor was unloaded. Later in the day, Aidan Anderson, Tyler Hansen and Tyler McDonald helped move tractors into the lab, including Aidan and Hunter’s AC WC.
