Laurel Bowers, IPTV program producer; Steve Carns, IPTV videographer and director of photography and Allison Walker, IPTV summer intern, interviewed and videotaped Nevada High School agriculture education students and FFA members on Wednesday July 12, and Thursday, July 13. The taped material and photographs will be edited and featured during IPTV’s state fair highlights in August.

“I really enjoyed meeting the students, what a great program!” mentioned Bowers. The students were videotaped and photographed working on tractor projects for the county and state fair. Kevin Cooper, Nevada High School agriculture education instructor and FFA advisor, was also interviewed as part of the program. Cooper mentioned how community members and agribusinesses donate most of the tractors to Nevada FFA. Tractors are then sold to fund additional projects, and support program and chapter activities.
