Six members of sixth grade Girl Scout Troop 685 spent some time Saturday morning, April 6, cleaning up the St Patrick’s Cemetery in Nevada. They removed five garbage bags of litter, much of it from the wooded area and fenceline, and straightened the copper honor markers that were knocked off kilter by the winter weather. They also bravely removed and disposed of a dead snake near the road. Their work prepares the cemetery for spring mowing and upkeep. Photo Contributed
