By the time you read this we will have passed into spring, and we certainly deserve it. Activities are getting back on a normal schedule at the Senior Center.

We had 50 people at our potluck last week and nearly as many for movie day on Wednesday. Most people came to see the movie “Green Book” for the first time, but several said they had seen it in the theater and definitely wanted to see it again.

This Academy Award winning movie is certainly worth seeing twice. It is now available for rent at the Good and Quick convenience store or from a Red Box.

For our movie day in April I am hoping to show “On the Basis of Sex”, which is about the life of Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsberg. It is supposed to be released on DVD on April 9th , just in time for our movie day on the 10th.

Our Monday afternoon women’s coffee time continues to pick up in numbers. Plan to join the group at 2:00 each Monday—- except for our potluck day.

There is a host at the Center every other afternoon as well, so plan to drop in for an afternoon snack and cup of coffee or to join a card game.

We will continue to have the last Friday of the month designated as our 500 card day, so if you have ever played, or would like to learn, join us at 1:00 on the 29th.
