Niland’s Cafe in Colo re-opened this past Saturday under the new management of Arlo and Charity Starbuck. Charity said the first breakfast, Saturday, was rough, as they were training new cooks and learning the line. “The first week is always a time to iron things out,” she said, and encouraged that anyone with good or bad feedback for them, come tell them in person, so they can learn from that. Big sellers on the opening weekend, Arlo said, were the D & J Burger, a loosemeat sandwich and the breakfast Farmer’s Platter.
