The Nevada PTA sponsored its “VIP & Me” Snowflake Dance this past weekend at the elementary school, and the turnout exceeded organizers’ expectations. The dance brought in more than 150 girls, ages preschool through sixth grade, plus their adult VIPs (Very Important Persons). Attendees had fun dancing and listening to the tunes, played by “Mrs. Fever” (Susan Livesay of Maxwell) of Dr Johnny Fever Productions. There were also craft activities in the cafeteria. A PTA dance event earlier in the year, done as a cowboys theme, was for boys and their VIPs.
