FORT MADISON — A Fort Madison man is wanted for questioning in connection with a Saturday shooting that left one injured.
According to a press release issued by the Fort Madison Police Department, officers were called to the Fort Madison Community Hospital Emergency Room shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday for a gunshot victim with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim, James Michael Rhoer, 34, of Fort Madison, was treated and released from the hospital.
Fort Madison Police Captain Rob Hogan said police are seeking Gary Lee Swanson Jr., 30, also of Fort Madison, for questioning in relation to the shooting.
