A $6,000 Story County Community Foundation (SCCF) community grant provided for the purchase of two ultrasonic scaling systems to the Mid-Iowa Community Action (MICA) Story County Dental Clinic.

“The ability to purchase this equipment means that patients will receive treatment with high-quality equipment and no delay in service,” offered MICA Health Services Director Gloria Symons.

Created to fulfill the oral health needs of low-income families, the Story County Dental Clinic has helped many adults and children obtain affordable dental care. The clinic offers a range of dental services to patients of all ages. Located at 226 SE 16th St. in Ames, the clinic is open four days a week.
