Calling all 6- to 9-year-olds to the historic Halley Country School to hear the story, “My Great Aunt Hannah,” this Sunday afternoon, July 1, starting at 2:30 p.m.

The story is about a girl who attended a country school and grows up to teach in one, but dreams of many places she would love to travel and see. After the story, Max Whitaker will talk about his school experiences while attending the Halley School. Additionally, children attending will have fun playing indoor and outdoor games played by past generations.

The Halley School is located at 1204 H Ave., on the Evergreen Lane Historical Complex. If it is raining or heat is excessive, the program will be cancelled. Call 382-6703 with questions.
