Stacie Herridge has announced she will seek a second term as Story County Recorder.
Herridge, a Republican, was first elected in 2014 to succeed the retiring Republican Sue VandeKamp. She continues to enhance technology and streamline processes to improve the customer experience by offering friendly, consistent and reliable service to the tax-payers of Story County.
“My commitment to serve as Story County Recorder is strong as I seek re-election. I have enjoyed working for Story County for over 20 years and am dedicated to this county as I help our residents every day.”
Herridge serves as the Iowa County Recorders Association District 1 vice president, the vice president of the Nevada Bicentennial Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association and co-treasurer of the Nevada Booster Club board, along with other volunteer organizations.
Herridge was raised on a small farm near Cambridge, and graduated from Nevada High School. After receiving her BA degree in management from UNI in Cedar Falls, she returned to Story County.
