A new and unique multi-county Lincoln Highway GOP Dinner was announced today. Focused on “Celebrating What Connects Us,” this event is sponsored by the Republican Parties of Boone, Story, and Marshall counties; the ISU College Republicans and the Republican Women of Central Iowa. The dinner will take place at the Gateway Center in Ames on Saturday, March 24, with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. In addition to two panel discussions of elected officials, United States Senator Joni Ernst will provide a keynote address.

Confirmed elected officials attending include U.S. Senator Joni Ernst; Gov. Kim Reynolds; Auditor of State Mary Mosiman; Secretary of State Paul Pate; Deputy Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig; Iowa Senate Majority Leader Bill Dix; Senator Jeff Edler; Representatives Dave Deyoe, Rob Bacon, Chip Baltimore and Dean Fisher; Story County Supervisors Rick Sanders and Marty Chitty; Story County Treasurer Renee Twedt; Story County Recorder Stacie Herridge; Marshall County Supervisor Bill Patten; and Republican Party of Iowa Co-Chair Cody Hoefert. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
