Would you like a way to positively change the lives of young girls?

The local T.T.T. chapter, Iowa BI Ames (which involves women from Nevada, too), has been sending area girls to camp for over 50 years. Nevada members and girls being sent to camp, have been part of the organization’s efforts for the last several years.

Locally, T.T.T. works with the Nevada counselor and fourth grade teachers to find girls who will benefit from this positive experience with other girls.

Local members Sherry Bullock and Kathy Kockler, share that it’s amazing to meet the girls and their parents before camp and then to bring the girls home after their week away, very chatty and happy. Local members continue to hear from girls, now women, who benefited from that one week at camp.

Women of Nevada are invited to attend an informational meeting to hear more about T.T.T. and sending girls to camp, as the organization is looking to grow its membership in Nevada.

The meeting is:

• Thursday, March 1, from 7-9 p.m. at the Nevada Public Library

Please RSVP to Sherry Bullock at 515-238-5053 or slbiowa@yahoo.com…AND bring a friend or two to the meeting! You can find out more about T.T.T. by going to: www.nationaltttsociety.org.
