This week at 1 p.m. on the 7th will be our regular Bingo day. We usually play a few games, stop to eat our dessert, play six more games and are finished by about 2:45. The cost is $3 for 2 Bingo cards and a seasonal dessert. If you are looking to pass an afternoon, I hope you will join us.

Next Monday at our potluck we will be having a brief annual meeting to review the happenings of the past year and look forward to our future. We will also have a short program about several past senior organizations which were our forerunners. Last winter we received a call from the library asking if someone could look through several boxes of minutes and other memorabilia left there by pervious senior groups. Our historian, Judy Craven, volunteered to do that and has organized and rewritten some history about several of those groups. She will share some of the fun things she discovered before any of it goes back in to storage.

I want to remind you about two summer-time things at the Center. Our chair Yoga class meets at 9 a.m. on Fridays. We have had 10-15 participants, but we have room for more. We also started a 2 o’clock Monday afternoon ladies’ coffee time this week. Since I’m writing this in the morning of our first one I cannot report on attendance, but I’m sure it will be fun. If these activities are successful, we may continue them into the Fall.
