For five years Team Neutrino has taken part in FIRST Robotics Competition, a worldwide competition where high school students design and build a robot in only six weeks. Once that time is up, it is taken to different regionals to compete against other teams’ robots. FIRST has many programs developed to inspire students and encourage STEM around the world.

For the past several weeks, 42 students and their mentors have been meeting on Iowa State University’s campus to design and assemble a robot to compete in the 2016 game, FIRST STRONGHOLD. Now that their time is almost up, the moment to reveal their hard work to the public has come. On Feb. 22, in the ISU Biorenewables Complex from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Team Neutrino will present this year’s robot. For more information about Team Neutrino or FIRST, please visit
