JEWELL – The Colo-Nesco cross country team competed at the South Hamilton Invitational Oct. 10 and both teams produced one individual top-50 runner.

Steven Cutler led the way for the Colo-Nesco boys as he ran a 5-kilometer time of 18 minutes, 13 seconds to place 26th. Kyle Miller was 77th in 22:01, Caleb Vaughn finished 83rd in 26:33 and Ashton Graddick was 84th in 27:10 for the Royal boys.

Grace Stalzer turned in a 43rd-place 4-kilometer time of 19:07 to place 43rd as the top runner for the Royal girls. Angela Brinkman was 60th in 20:18, Stephanie Norris finished 61st with a 20:19 showing, Caitlin Clark took 69th in 21:42 and Leah Vincent was 70th in 21:58.
