Out of six teams and 42 individual golfers, no one individual had a better round of 18 holes than A-D-M’s own Micah Moyer.

The soon to be collegiate standout fired a one-under 69 to lead all golfers Thursday at the Woodward Golf Club and helped his team to a second place finish. Moyer put on a 13 par, three birdie performance overall highlighted by a back nine where the senior played bogie free golf.

Adam O’Connor chipped in the second best 18 hole score for the Tigers with 81 strokes for the afternoon to earn a fifth place finish. That score earned O’Connor his career low 18 hole score, besting his previous low of 82 set last season. The junior was then followed by seniors Grant Curran and Matthew West who shot 84 and 87 respectively.

The Tigers as a team finished second with a total of 321, just two shots off the team champion Dallas Center-Grimes.

The Tigers will resume action on Monday, April 16th when they travel to Beaver Creek Golf Course for a non conference contest against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs.
