COLO - The Colo-NESCO volleyball team suffered its second non-conference loss in a week Monday as the Royals came up short against Van Meter in Colo.
Colo-NESCO was swept by scores of 25-13, 25-13 and 25-10, dropping to 5-14 on the season. The Royals struggled with their attack all match, only mustering five kills against 16 errors in 41 attacks.
Rylie Reischauer delivered two kills and one assist and Chelsea Henze two assists, one kill and one dig for the Royals. Lindsey Riese added three digs and one kill, Gracie Kettwig one kill and one block, Emma Sarver eight digs and Rylee Purvis six digs and two blocks.
Megan Carlson chipped in one assist for Colo-NESCO.
OGDEN - Colo-NESCO was inconsistent offensively in a non-conference loss to Ogden Oct. 5 at Ogden.
The Royals were swept by scores of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-15, falling to 5-13 on the season. They only had 10 kills against 11 errors in 58 attacks and also only picked up two aces serving.
Defensively, Colo-NESCO put up 12 digs and four blocks. The Royals went 41 of 48 serving with two aces.
Chelsea Henze had four assists, three kills, two digs and one ace for Colo-NESCO. Emma Sarver put up six digs and two kills, Lindsey Riese two kills and digs apiece and Rylie Reischauer five assists, one kill and one block.
Gracie Kettwig added two blocks and one ace, Rylee Purvis two digs and one block, Halley Buseman one kill and assist apiece and Molly Barten one kill.
