To the editor:

The drinking water in Nevada is not fit to drink anymore. It tastes like bleach. Many people have commented about it, but nothing seems to happen to remedy the problem. Maybe we should take up a collection to educate the water department people on the proper ratios of chemicals to use. There are out-of-town people who work in Nevada, but either bring water from home or buy bottled water, because they refuse to drink the local product. One has to wonder if long-term use (cooking, drinking, etc.) might have a negative effect on us. We used to have excellent drinking water here, but no more. The answer seems to be with the amount of chemicals being used. Someone needs to review the ratios/formulas being used.
