A ribbon cutting and open house were held at Tamara Ross State Farm office, 1229 South G Ave., on Thursday, Jan. 30. About 25 Chamber ambassadors and Nevada residents stopped in to welcome Tamara and her staff to Nevada. Chili, prepared by James Sharkey and John Ross, was served along with other great food. Tamara grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota, where she enjoyed fly fishing and gold panning. She has traveled the world with her husband while he was in the Air Force. She is also a veteran of the USAF. Most recently she was a project manager at Kreg Tool Company. She has lived near Colo for the past 10 years.
