Former Nevada Journal columnist Wendell "Bud" Strum, 73, died Tuesday.

Strum, who wrote Pocket Lint for a number of years in the Nevada Journal, was known for his "hold nothing back, very opinionated" style of writing. He had a faithful following of readers over the years.

Strum died at Story County Medical Center in Nevada. A Celebration of Life service is pending with Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada.
