The Story County Medical Center Endowment Foundation recently received a gift in the amount of $100,000 from James Wright, Sr., a longtime and dedicated supporter of Story County Medical Center and Foundation.

Story Medical is in the process of completing a facility master plan. The careful planning includes combining all services onto one campus; beginning with Story Medical Clinic - Nevada, therapy services and the construction of a much-needed community wellness center. This will not only be more convenient for our patients and visitors, it will help Story Medical remain focused on quality, patient-centered health care, while reducing costs associated with operating in two different locations.

"Wright’s gift is kick-starting our capital campaign to raise funds to make this all happen," said Dave Anderson, president of the Story County Medical Board of Trustees. "James has been a committed and active supporter of Story Medical and he understands our vision and goals of providing patient-centered health care. His generous gift will pave the way for quality health care for Story County residents for decades to come, and on behalf of the whole Story Medical family, I thank him."

In the months to come, the foundation will have a completed facility master plan and is very excited to begin sharing it with our communities.
