Residents are invited to the Saylorville Lake Eagle Watch event on Sunday, Feb. 23, from noon to 4 p.m. The watch is free to attend.
Your driving tour begins at the Saylorville Lake Visitor Center. It will include an eagle movie and a close look at an eagle mount at the Saylorville Visitor Center; stops at prime viewing areas with spotting scopes to watch the birds in the wild and a live eagle presentation at Jester Park Lodge. Pick up your Eagle Watch Passports at any of the stops and drop off your completed passport at your last stop for a chance to win eagle prizes. The Saylorville Lake Visitor Center is located on the east end of the dam, off Highway 415 on Horseshoe Road. For more information, contact the Saylorville Lake Administration Office at 515-276-4656.
