The Nevada FFA’s annual Community Winter Dinner and free concert will be held Sunday, Dec. 8. This has become a tradition for the club as a way of giving back to the community.
Residents are invited to enjoy the meal in the high school commons - the first public meal to be served in the commons after its major remodeling. The meal will be served from 11:30-1 p.m. and there is no charge and no free-will donations will be accepted. After eating, a concert, featuring C.W. Hobbs and The Flatland String Band will be performed in the Josephine Tope Community Auditorium.
For those who are homebound, meals will be delivered upon request. Please call ahead earlier in the week to Mr. Cooper, 382-3521, ext. 329.
This event is financed and operated by the Nevada High School Ag Ed Department and the Nevada FFA Chapter.
