On Thursday, Dec. 5, from 3-7 p.m., Nevada High School will be hosting two special events in conjunction with the ninth-12th grade parent-teacher conferences.

The school will be having a Project Lead the Way informational night in the newly remodeled commons area. There will be information about the PLTW courses that will be offered at the high school, beginning next year. Project Lead the Way is a pre-engineering program that teaches students problem-solving skills through hands-on projects that expose students to engineering. Kim Glenn, of PLTW Inc., will be on hand to provide information and examples of projects from these courses. This will also be a great opportunity for everyone to see the newly remodeled commons area. Come check it out.
