Nevada High School FFA competed in Subdistrict FFA Leadership Career events on Monday, Feb. 24, at Aplington Parkersburg High School. Several of the contest areas started preparation in December. All of the students felt the contest increased their public-speaking skills and are excited to continue pursuing additional career development contests in the future.

"Participating in these FFA opportunities is like putting money in the bank, but this currency has an intellectual value that will pay dividends in the future," said Kevin Cooper, Nevada ag instructor and FFA advisor.

Results are as follows:

Megan Pringnitz - Ag Job Interview, Silver, third place alternate for districts
