Lincoln Highway on the west side of Nevada will remain closed for the time being while work continues near the intersection of 590th Avenue. Shawn Cole, building and zoning administrator, said concrete for the turning lanes at the intersection was poured Tuesday, Nov. 19, and asphalt was scheduled to arrive the following day. The re-opening of the highway will depend on how soon painting crews can get in and paint the lines at the intersection. Cole speculated it could be a week or more before it is open to through traffic.
