Pat Rundall will present"Ham Radio Contesting & Tools for Maximum Fun"at the April 3 meeting of the Story County Amateur Radio Club. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be in Conference Room C on the north side of Mary Greeley Medical Center. Rundall will explain radio and computer tools that streamline contesting, including recent developments such as "Software Defined Radio" and the "CW Skimmer" program. A resident of Ames and an ISU graduate, Rundall holds an FCC Extra Class license and has been an amateur radio operator since 1980.

The meeting is free and open to the public; annual memberships in the Story County Amateur Radio Club are available for $10 per year.
