February 26 – Did you know that Story County Conservation manages more than 3,500 acres of public parks and natural areas including lakes, trails, campgrounds, and more? Story County Conservation and Iowa State University would like your input about how these areas are managed, and how they can be improved to better fit your needs! If you’d like to contribute, complete a brief online survey by Monday, March 31 at 11:59 p.m.

The survey can be found on the homepage of Story County Conservation’s website (www.storycountyiowa.gov/conservation) or by following the direct link http://bit.ly/trailsurvey. This survey aims to give Story County Conservation (SCC) a better understanding of the use of SCC parks and trails as well as the opinion of the people who utilize these areas. The information gathered from this survey will aid staff in accommodating the needs of the public on current and future projects in Story County parks. The results from this survey will also allow staff to better prepare for the upcoming summer season.
