Something for children of all ages is being offered at the Halley One Room Country School all summer long. This week on Sunday, June 3, at 2:30 p.m., the stories are geared towards the 3 to 5-year-olds. “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and “Time to Go” will be the themes, and stories will be followed by a craft and a game.

The Halley School is located on the Evergreen Lane Historical Complex, located at 1204 H Ave. This is just the start of a whole summer reading program called ‘Stories in the Schoolhouse.’ The stories are geared to different age groups and will occur on the first and third Sundays of the month.

These story times are FREE and no registration is required, but donations are always accepted. The Nevada Historical Society is sponsoring the program. For more information call Maxine 382-6703.
