Kalli Olson joins the Story County ISU Extension and Outreach team as the County 4-H youth coordinator. Kalli was born and raised in Wright County, where she participated in many activities, especially the 4-H program. She is a 9-year member of the Wright Warriors 4-H Club, which she represented in both county and state fair events. She brings experience as a member of the Teen Council and serving two summer internships with the Wright County Extension Office.

Through her time in 4-H, Kalli has gained many life skills and passions she is excited to share with the 4-H youth and families in Story County.

Kalli is a graduate of Eagle Grove High School and holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Iowa State University in public service and administration in agriculture with a minor in child, adult, and family services. Prior to college, Kalli worked for the Eagle Grove Pharmacy and continued to be active in 4-H.

Through her experience with the Wright County Extension Office, Kalli was further inspired by the work of ISU Extension and chose to pursue a career working with the 4-H program. Kalli joins us from Rotary Senior Living in Eagle Grove, where she served as the activity director. While in her home area, she continued her passion for influencing the 4-H program as a member of the Wright County 4-H and Youth Committee. Please join us in welcoming Kalli Olson to the Story County Extension Team!
