Mindy Ott is the new county executive director at the Story County FSA Office as of Sept. 5.

She grew up on a farm outside of Dayton, which grew corn, soybeans, oats and hay, as well as raised pigs. She received her bachelor’s in accounting from Buena Vista University. For the past nine years, Ott served as a program technician in the Webster County FSA Office in Fort Dodge.

Currently, she lives on an acreage outside of Boxholm with her husband, Jason and two sons, Grant and Dane. Her husband and his family farm row crops, and raise cattle and hogs.

As the new county executive director, Ott is looking forward to serving all the producers and establishing a good working relationship with the producers of Story County. Please feel free to introduce yourself on your next visit into the office, or by phone or email. She looks forward to meeting you all!
