MONTROSE — A light agenda for the Lee County Board of Supervisors Tuesday resulted in an efficient, 20-minute meeting with little action.
Here are the highlights:
1. John Hansen of Midwest Construction Consultants will be on next week's agenda for supervisors to approve contracts for South Lee County Courthouse roof construction in Keokuk.
2. Supervisor Matt Pflug said the county health department has moved to its new location in the administrative offices at John Bennett Correctional Facility in Fort Madison, adjacent to the former Iowa State Penitentiary.
3. Supervisor Gary Folluo said Boy Scout troops in Fort Madison and Keokuk are working to properly dispose of old, unusable American flags. In the past, old flags have been accepted at Roling Hall in Holy Family Parish, 2210 Avenue I in Fort Madison. In Keokuk, flags can be dropped off at the YMCA, 2126 Plank Road.
